The film revolves around the story of an ambitious driver who uses his intelligence to escape from poverty and rise to riches. The film is an adaptation of a 2008 novel titled The White Tiger, written by Australian-Indian writer, Aravind Adiga. As the film has been receiving great reviews from the critics and an amazing response from the audience, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan watched the movie.
